ANNE-GERI' FANN
Anj at a glance
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,
for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Anne-Geri’ is pronounced "an-juh-ree" but I also answer to “Angie” or "Anj." My extremely cool husband David and I love laughing with friends so hard that beverage comes out of our noses. My experience extends from my birthplace of New Zealand to all over the world. I have enjoyed stuffy nights on an Italian train, accidentally body-surfed in Hawaii, torn off a piece of the Berlin Wall a few days after it fell and have many times fallen asleep to the sounds of rain on a tin roof in an adobe home on top of a Honduran mountain.
I am a bit of a hippie who enjoys organic gardening, my pottery studio, and a good cup of hot tea after a hearty hike off of a satisfying trail. I manage The Scripture Scout website, podcast, speaking engagements and curriculum which takes up a great deal of my time but I LOVE IT.
I published How to Get Ready for Short-Term Missions, once owned my own travel agency, am sometimes a Spanish tutor, active in the theatre community, and have often taught religion or cultural anthropology courses on the university level. I speak Spanish, am somewhat dangerous in German, but my Klingon is totally hopeless. ;-)
About my hubby: David is one of the lead engineers for The Center for Medical Interoperability a 501(c)(3) cooperative research and development lab founded by health systems to simplify and advance data sharing among medical technologies and systems. It's "totally rad." David and I have two boys, Bradon and Avary. They're pretty awesome when they aren't sleeping too.
